I have to say, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had start to finish, top to (literally) bottom. First off this for me was one of the most invasive and embarrassing situations my mind could conjure up. It took me 3 years of dealing with the situation before I finally had enough. Walking through the door sweaty palms, blood pressure elevated, I finally went in. After the first consultation and initial examination I felt better although still unsure. The Dr had told me the worst part is over. Was still hard for me to imagine that. Came back for 1st procedure (3 total) and it was over in seconds. I couldn’t believe it. By the time the 2nd procedure came and went I was on cloud 9. I just (yesterday) finished the 3rd and final procedure. All pieces of cake. Now I can focus on the banding procedure itself as easy, but in truth what made it so seamless was the staff. From the moment I walked in (53 yr old male, fairly decent shape, 235lbs) I was afraid, nervous, felt small, almost cowardly and they literally were so convincingly warm, attentive, and acknowledging to my fears and uncomfortableness’s. They literally spoke to me in a calm and soothing manner. Explained absolutely everything to the detail how, what, why, etc. the whole office including the Dr expresses an authentic joy for the job they have. They all literally put the ‘care’ into healthcare which these days let’s be honest has diminished. It’s not that I want to go back again but there was a weird feeling in leaving for my last appointment felt odd as I enjoyed the way the staff made me feel. I highly, highly recommend AHC to everyone and anyone dealing with hemorrhoids, this office is truly A+ within all 4 walls. I can’t express my appreciation enough! The gals at the front desk, Dr. Poulos….absolutely all amazing people and extremely great at their jobs! 👊🏻💪🏻🇺🇸
