Denise Poulos, MD
Founder
As our founder, Dr. Poulos has been treating pelvic floor disorders for over 25 years. As a Urogynecologist, she specialized in care of a multitude of pelvic floor disorders ranging from urinary incontinence to pelvic organ prolapse and bowel disorders including fecal control and hemorrhoids. She completed further specialized training with a Colorectal surgeon and offers banding and other hemorrhoid services to both men and women. She has successfully treated thousands and thousands of hemorrhoids, in an office setting using non-surgical techniques.

Practice Administrator
Denise Shannon, RN, BSN is the Practice Administrator for Advanced Hemorrhoid Centers. She has 30 years of Nursing and Practice Management experience. Denise received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Elmhurst University and has a certificate in Nurse Leadership from Duke University. She is looking forward to leading a hemorrhoid banding practice in Scottsdale.

Valeria Garcia Mireles is a current Certified Nursing Assistant/ Medical Assistant at Advanced Hemorrhoid Center in Scottsdale, AZ. A proud graduate from Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ. She was inspired to pursue a career in health care after she was in several health care programs during her high school years. Valeria has been in the health care field for over 8 years..
